Police took a 27-year-old-man and 22-year-old woman into custody at gunpoint after one of the suspects allegedly pointed a plastic toy weapon at an officer.

Thunder Bay Police Service officers responded to a call around 5 p.m. at an apartment on Hudson Avenue Sunday. Police say they received reports of a man waving a gun around at people. When officers arrived, the man of continued to wave the gun around and ran into the building, police say.

After police made sure the area was safe, a man and woman entered the lobby of the apartment. Police say they arrested both at gunpoint and found the weapon the man had was a toy replica.

Police charged both with weapons dangerous to the public.

As long as the legal trade of such firearms is permitted the problems will persist.
The constabulary should seize the arsenal at Walmart.

On the subject, I was driving down Redwood yesterday and noticed 2 kids maybe 14 or 15 years of age walking on the sidewalk. The one posed as if to hold a gun with both hands, aimed and made like a shot at me. I couldn't tell but it did look like dark object in his hands. I didn't react fast enough but I should have stopped my truck right then and there, rolled down my window and gave them the fright of their lives. What the hell is going on with these kids these days?

Job well done officers! Now, are these officers going to be charged for doing their job also? What a bunch of hippocrits - we pay them to protect us and then they are charged for misconduct! go figure - people breaking the law should NOT have any rights at all!

Sounds more like a prank than anything... I wonder how many cars were getting robbed a few blocks over while this was going on..?

I wonder if the video will go viral or not.
