Police seize drugs, arrest two Ottawa area women after traffic stop

THUNDER BAY -- City police officers arrested two people after seizing drugs and money following a traffic stop Monday. Thunder Bay Police Service officers made the traffic stop on Fort William Road by the Intercity Shopping Centre around 9:40 p.m.

Thunder Bay Police Service officers made the traffic stop on Fort William Road by the Intercity Shopping Centre around 9:40 p.m. Monday. Officers noticed marijuana in the vehicle and arrested to two female occupants.

A search resulted in the seizure of marijuana, cash and Oxyneo pills.

Bobbi-Jo Buzzi, 39, of Glouster, Ont., and Sherri Gaudreau, 31, of Orleans, Ont., have each been charged with four counts of possession of a controlled substance for trafficking.

Both women were transported to the Balmoral Street police station, and appeared in court Tuesday. They have been remanded and will make another court appearance Wednesday.
