THUNDER BAY -- Police are reminding the public once again not to drink and drive.

The Thunder Bay detachment of the OPP received a 9-11 call from a concerned motorist around 1 p.m. Sunday. The call was concerning a vehicle that was driving "seriously out of control" on the Thunder Bay Expressway.

The vehicle was reported to have almost struck several other vehicles before being intercepted by police.

A 55-year-old woman was arrested for impaired driving.

She later provided a breath sample that showed she was driving with four times the legal limit of alcohol.

OPP officials are encouraging the public to call 9-11 to report impaired drivers, and again remind motorists to arrange alternate ways home if you plan on drinking.
