THUNDER BAY -- Firefighters had a busy night in the city Tuesday as a blaze broke out in the downtown north core.
Around 8 p.m., four pumpers and numerous firefighters battled the flames at a Ambrose Street home.
City police officers and paramedics were also called to the scene.
Thunder Bay Fire and Rescue hasn't released any further details, but it is believed that a mattress, located on the second floor of the home, was on fire when crews first arrived.
More information about the fire will be published when it becomes available.
