Firefighters have hands full with Ambrose Street blaze

By tbnewswatch.com

THUNDER BAY -- Firefighters had a busy night in the city Tuesday as a blaze broke out in the downtown north core.

Around 8 p.m., four pumpers and numerous firefighters battled the flames at a Ambrose Street home.

City police officers and paramedics were also called to the scene.

Thunder Bay Fire and Rescue hasn't released any further details, but it is believed that a mattress, located on the second floor of the home, was on fire when crews first arrived.

More information about the fire will be published when it becomes available.

Oh my goodness, they had to actually do their job! It must have been frustrating that they had to put their private jobs aside to actually do what we pay them to do. Poor dears.

Of course someone always has to be sarcastic and make negative comments directed towards some aspect of the city.

Hopefully no one was hurt.

The amount of hatred directed toward the fire department on this site is absurd. I have never seen this on any other news site, just tbnewswatch. What makes Thunder Bay so different?
