Man struck by vehicle while walking dog

A man is in hospital Saturday night after being struck by a vehicle on the corner of Arthur and Norah streets. The 53-year-old man was walking his dog when police allege the pair was struck by a 44-year-old woman.

A man is in hospital Saturday night after being struck by a vehicle on the corner of Arthur and Norah streets.

The 53-year-old man was walking his dog when police allege the pair was struck by a 44-year-old woman. The dog was seriously hurt and is under the care of a veterinarian.

The woman was arrested and charged with fail to remain and drive while disqualified.

Police have named neither the victim nor the suspect.

Their investigation continues.
