All Thunder Bay Transit services have been suspended.

Friday's storm has caused all bus routes to be cancelled temporarily until driving conditions improve.

All city libraries are closing at 1 p.m.  

Many other organizations are announcing closures as well including all city-run day cares and the Canada Games Complex, which has cancelled all evening classes Friday. 

All registered programs at the Thunder Bay 55 Plus Centre and Herb Caroll Centre 55 Plus are also cancelled.

Lakehead University exams scheduled for 1 p.m. and 6 p.m. have been postponed until April 25. The university's campus is also closed.

Confederation College has also cancelled all remaining classes.

The Thunder Bay District Health Unit has closed for the day as well as the Thunder Bay Community Auditorium box office. 

The OLG Casino is closing at 2 p.m. Friday and will open again Saturday at 9 a.m. 

The city has also suspended recycling collection and closed the Centennial Botanical Conservatory as well as the Church Hill Swimming Pool and Volunteer Pool.
