A couple of major Thunder Bay fundraising campaigns are reporting some disappointing returns.
Thunder Bay United Way officials say they've brought in just over $1.3 million so far for this year’s fundraising effort. And with just four weeks left in the campaign, that total is less than half of the $2.7 million target.
Similarly, the Salvation Army says it's Christmas Kettle Campaign has brought in just under $40,000, which is.about $13,000 below the total raised by this time last year.
It also leaves them well short of their $170,000 overall target.
Both campaigns are urging people to make their donations today to help ensure they reach their goals.
