Indoor soccer teams that have been idle for a couple of weeks because of the closure of the Thunder Bay Sportsdome should be back in action by Monday.

Renovations forced the closure of the facility on Nov. 25.  While construction crews worked extended hours in an effort to expedite the process, the work has taken longer than expected.

That's resulted in some frustration for local soccer leagues, as the Sportsdome is the only indoor soccer facility in the city.

But while soccer action will resume Monday, access to other sports facilities, such as the driving range, will be delayed until work can be completed in other areas of the Dome.
