Even city buses were having a hard time getting around on slick, snow packed streets. A transit bus on the East End route slid off the road into a snow bank while making a turn from May Street onto Southern Avenue.

Even city buses were having a hard time getting around on slick, snow packed streets.

A transit bus on the East End route slid off the road into a snow bank while making a turn from May Street onto Southern Avenue.  That incident took place at about 3 p.m.

Thunder Bay Transit officials say there was no damage to the bus or property and no passengers were injured.

There were some traffic delays while the bus was towed out of the snowbank.

The bus was back in service just a short time later.
