City police have arrested a man who is now facing a list of alleged sexual offences.

The Thunder Bay Police Service executed a search warrant at a Wishart Crescent address on Saturday, seizing several computers, cell phones, DVDs and storage devices.

Police received a complaint in November of a sexual assault involving the 53-year-old male and a 15-year-old. The Criminal Investigations Branch used warrants and video evidence as part of their investigation.

The man has been charged with sexual assault, sexual exploitation, invitation to sexual touching, possession of child pornography, breach of probation and breach of prohibition order.

The police’s Cyber Crime Unit still has to investigate the confiscated items.

The man will appear in video court on Sunday.
