A Christmas Grinch didn’t wait long to put himself on Santa’s naughty list for 2014.

Thunder Bay police say a lone male armed with a knife entered the Mac’s Mart Convenience Store at 745 Simpson St. at about 1:11 a.m. on Wednesday, demanded cash and fled in a small four-door blue car with an undisclosed amount of money and property.

The clerk on duty was not hurt in the incident.

The suspect is described as standing approximately six-feet tall with a medium build. He is thought to be in his mid- to late 20s and was wearing a white hoodie with the letters DC on the front, dark pants and tan shoes. He wore a white handkerchief across his face.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
