A woman armed with a knife allegedly robbed the Red River Road Shopper’s Drug Mart on Thursday morning.

A woman armed with a knife allegedly robbed the Red River Road Shopper’s Drug Mart on Thursday morning.

Police say the suspect, described as an Aboriginal female standing 5-foot-1, came into the store with her face covered and demanded drugs from a pharmacy employee. She left the store with Fentanyl patches and was last seen on Junot Avenue heading toward the Blucher Street area.

The woman was wearing black pants, a black sweater under an inside-out Nevada t-shirt. She also had on black gloves, a black hat and a scarf covering her face.
