Mac's robbed

A man wielding an axe held up the Mac’s Convenience store on Waterloo Street overnight. According to the company, the suspect entered the store (see video below) , produced the weapon and demanded money from the register.

A man wielding an axe held up the Mac’s Convenience store on Waterloo Street overnight.

According to the company, the suspect entered the store (see video below), produced the weapon and demanded money from the register.
The employee complied and the suspect fled.

Police say the suspect is an Aboriginal male, standing between 5-foot-7 and 5-foot-9 and weighing between 160 and 170 pounds.

The suspect was wearing a dark leather jacket, dark pants, white and black shoes, gloves and a dark ski mask.

The incident occurred at about 6:30 a.m.
