A Mac’s official believes the company might be dealing with a serial robber.

Thieves hit a pair of Mac’s Conveniences stores overnight (see video below) in Thunder Bay. At 2:38 a.m. on Thursday a man wielding a knife entered the Balsam Street location, demanded cash and lottery tickets and fled the scene in a blue vehicle.

Police say they believe there was a second person in the vehicle.

The suspect is described as a Caucasian male, about six-feet tall with a heavier build. He was wearing a grey hoodie, jeans, black gloves and a white bandana covering his face.

In the second case a lone male, again brandishing a knife, ran off with money and lottery tickets.

This suspect is described as being six-feet tall with a medium build, dark eyes and around 25 to 35 years old. He was wearing a black Monster hoodie with a small Monster logo on the front. He was also wearing jeans, black gloves and a white face mask.

There were no injuries to staff in either incident.

Police believe these two incidents are related to a Feb. 8 robbery at the West Arthur Street Mac's location.

Anyone with information on these robberies is asked to contact police at 684-1200 or anonymously call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS. An anonymous web tip can also be sent at www.tipsubmit.com.
