A suspicious Kijiji ad has led to the arrest of a Thunder Bay man.

The ad appeared on Tuesday from a man claiming to be a photographer looking for young male models between the ages of six and 13.

Police began communicating with the man, and that dialogue ultimately led to the arrest Thursday of 27-year-old Matthew William Lovering.

Lovering has been charged wit:

  • Invitation to Sexual Touching
  • Luring a Child
  • Breach of Probation
  • Fail to Comply with Undertaking

The suspect remains in custody until his next court appearance at the end of the month.

None of the charges against the suspect have been tested in court.
