City police have released a video showing what they describe as “persons of interest” related to an ongoing vandalism investigation.

Officials with the Thunder Bay Police Service say on Feb. 16, just after noon, a vehicle was parked outside of the Target store at the Intercity Shopping Centre. That vehicle was spray painted while the owner was inside the store for a short period of time.

Investigators have been working with store security to try and identify individuals who could be responsible for the damage.

Police on Monday released a video showing three young males who are “persons of interest in this investigation.” But the video was removed late Monday afternoon.

Police in a release sent to local media stated they hoped releasing the video could help identify the people in the video. Investigators wanted to speak to them in hopes they have information regarding the vandalism.

Police say they are not certain if the Target spray-painting incident is related to other incidents of vandalism reported recently in the Intercity area.
