Too many drug busts leave Kenora OPP dealing with an odour issue

By tbnewswatch.com

Kenora OPP are struggling to deal with an odor problem emanating from their narcotic storage area.

Inspector Dave Lucas says they've confiscated about 300 pounds of marijuana and 18 pounds of cocaine in the past three years. Much of that material is sitting in their detachment office, waiting for the court cases to wrap up.

Now, visitors and staff are complaining about the smell.

Lucas admits it is a health hazard, and the OPP is looking to find a suitable off-site storage area as soon as possible.

Badger.., cops don't make the laws that govern the land, they are merely required to enforce them, whether they agree with them or not, so please direct the bashing at those who have earned it, your gov't officials

So what's the issue?
Put in some proper ventilation and this will be a non issue.
As long as there are busts there will be the "odor"
Seems like some are trying to make this out to be a more complicated issue than it really is.
What are they going for?

Cops wont get it, because their paycheques depend on them acting ignorant of the fact that Mary Jane is harmless.

How date Lucas claim health hazards. Where's the proof. I have had enough of the demonizing of this wonderful medical plant.Time for the lies to stop and bring to light the truth about cannabis. Do some research people and voice your distaste for the lies you are being fed by the government and controlled news media!

Hilarious! Just don't breathe too deep. Wouldn't want our law enforcement officers to fail their drug tests!

Pretty sure most cops would not pass a drug test as it is.

....just say no to random searches.
If a cop is asking to search....it's because he has no valid legal reason to, and is just being nosy.
90% of highway drug busts are done this way.
Would you let a random stranger look through your personal belongings? ...same thing.
Know your rights!

No need to panic Kenora OPP, I have a spare room in my basement that would be perfect for 300 pounds of pot. Seriously, it would be indistinguishable from the normal aroma of my home. Also, I wouldn't even charge!
