City police have seized more than $61,000 in drugs from a Chippewa Road home.

On Tuesday afternoon, the Thunder Bay Police Service's drug unit executed a search warrant at a Totem Trailer Park home.

The search led to the discovery of 336 grams of marijuana.

Officers also found 100 yellow ecstasy tabs, four ounces of crack cocaine and two ounces of powder cocaine inside a locked safe that was bolted to the floor inside a closet.

A man and woman were arrested and jointly charged with possession of cocaine, marijuana and ecstasy for the purpose of trafficking.

Both suspects have a court date in March.
