City police are investigating a Tuesday evening, north-side stabbing.
Officials with the Thunder Bay Police Service say officers attended a north-side home after receiving reports of a stabbing.
Police say a 35-year-old woman was taken to the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre where she was treated for non-life threatening injuries.
A 40-year-old Thunder Bay woman was taken into custody without incident. That woman now faces a charge of aggravated assault and was expected to make a courtroom appearance Wednesday morning.
Police say both the victim and accused were known to one another, and that alcohol was a factor in the incident.
