Expect snow.
That’s the gist of a special weather statement - upgraded recently to a snowfall warning - issued by Environment Canada for the Thunder Bay area Wednesday morning.
The government weather agencies says parts of Northwestern Ontario, between Atikokan to Marathon , could be hit by 10 to 15 centimetres of snowfall between Wednesday night and Thursday morning.
If the system develops, it could mean worse news for Northeastern Ontario, where snowfall is expected to exceed 15 centimetres.
