This seems to be the winter that will never end.
Environment Canada placed Thunder Bay in a winter storm watch as of 11:30 a.m. Sunday morning, forecasting a fresh batch of precipitation to arrive in the city on Monday.
The weather service is calling for snow and ice pellets up to five to 10 centimetres with winds averaging 40 kilometres per hour. With temperatures expected to hover around the freezing point, there is also a chance for freezing rain.
That is expected to be followed up with periods of snow on Tuesday as well.
The good news for residents is that they will have one day to enjoy spring conditions before the wrath of winter returns, with Envrionment Canada expecting a high of 7C on Sunday.
