City police continue to be kept busy by an individual who has yet to learn not to drink and drive.

Less than two weeks after being found passed out in his car in a south side drive through, a 55-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a Saturday evening hit-and-run.

Thunder Bay Police Service responded to the scene at Victoria Avenue at around 11 p.m. where a vehicle collided with another car and took off. There were no injuries to the occupants of either vehicle.

While conducting the investigation, the man returned to speak with officers.

After speaking with him it was determined the man was intoxicated and is facing charges of impaired driving, disqualified operation of a motor vehicle and failing to stop at the scene of an accident.

He was already facing charges of failing to remain at the scene from the prior incident.

He will appear in court on Tuesday.
