THUNDER BAY -- A 41-year-old Thunder Bay man has been arrested on child pornography charges.
The Thunder Bay Police Service's computer crime unit received a referral from the National Child Exploitation Coordination Centre in connection with a Toronto-based investigation in early January.
The investigation resulted in a search warrant executed at an East Arthur Street home on April 14. A computer, USB drive, CDs and an SD card were seized and examined. Child pornography was found on the items.
Geoffrey Arden Filmore, 41, was arrested and charged with possession of child pornography and distribution of child pornography.
He appeared in court Thursday morning and has been released.
His next court date is May 20.
