THUNDER BAY -- The Northern Policy Institute has announced the names of those who will serve on its first Advisory Council.
Included on the six-person body is Barbara Courte Elinesky, who's the CEO of two diamond drilling companies and who serves on the Boards of the Thunder Bay Economic development Commission and the Chamber of Commerce.
Brian Davey is the Executive Director of the Nishnawbe Aski Development Fund.
Also named to the council is Don Drummond, a former Chief Economist with the TD Bank and senior official with the federal department of finance.
The Northern Policy Institute was formed to provide research and recommendations to government and industry that will strengthen the northern economy and communities.
