THUNDER BAY -- City police responded to a serious crash early this morning on one of the city's busiest streets.
A transport truck collided with a small car on Arthur Street at around 6 a.m. Thursday.
Officials with the Thunder Bay Police Service say say the man driving the car was freed by emergency crews and taken to the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre with non-life threatening injuries.
The street was closed for about three hours while the rescue and the subsequent police investigation were carried out.
There's no word yet on whether any charges will be laid.
