Suspect charged in recent break-ins

A 47-year-old man was in court on Wednesday to answer break-and-enter and robbery charges in several recent break-ins. Police say the man is a suspect in overnight robbery attempts at a north-core baker and barber shop that occurred on May 19.

A 47-year-old man was in court on Wednesday to answer break-and-enter and robbery charges in several recent break-ins.

Police say the man is a suspect in overnight robbery attempts at a north-core baker and barber shop that occurred on May 19. He was later linked to a May 16 Mr. Sub robbery.

The man was charged with robbery, two counts of break-and-enter and three counts of breach of probation.

The suspect was remanded to the Thunder Bay District Jail and is expected to appear in court again on Thursday.
