Investigation into discovery of infant’s body continues, tipline still open: Police

THUNDER BAY -- City police are still looking for possible leads into the case involving the discovery of an infant’s body, a police spokeswoman confirmed Wednesday.

Police Const. Julie Tilbury, in an email sent to tbnewswatch.com, said that the tip line is operational although there are no new developments in the case.

The infant’s body was discovered in a wooded area on the Delaney Arena’s north side on May 5.

A post-mortem exam of the body took place in Toronto two days later.
