Splash pad, water garden pavilion now open at Prince Arthur’s Landing

THUNDER BAY -- The waterfront waterpark is now open for the season. City officials on Monday announced the opening of the splash pad and water garden pavilion at Prince Arthur’s Landing. The waterpark will remain open until Sept. 15.

City officials on Monday announced the opening of the splash pad and water garden pavilion at Prince Arthur’s Landing. The waterpark will remain open until Sept. 15.

The waterpark is all ages and is open to the public daily from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.

The nearby water garden pavilion includes change areas and public restrooms. It is also open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.

The City of Thunder Bay also announced Monday that a list of Canada Day activities will soon be made public.

Meanwhile, Summer in the Parks, free Wednesday evening concert series, begins at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, July 9, and will run each Wednesday through Aug. 27.
