THUNDER BAY -- The case against a woman accused of murder will continue next month with an issues pretrial.
Priscilla Thomas, 38, was charged with second-degree murder in the Jan. 25 death of Jeffrey Munroe, 35.
Thomas appeared at the Thunder Bay Courthouse on Friday and an issues pretrial was set for July 4.
In January, the police said the investigation into the incident at an apartment building on the corner of Kingsway Avenue and Walsh Street revealed a domestic altercation had occurred between Thomas and Munroe, who lived together.
The altercation escalated and Munroe was stabbed, said police.
Alcohol was also a factor.
Munroe was taken to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
Thomas was granted bail in April with conditions that included a strict curfew.
The accused is also not allowed to associate with several family members who may be called as witnesses.
