gotta love how they lead people to believe their B.S.
Yes number of meals has doubled but people and buisnesses donate food all the time.

What is the cost of the needles that litter our city?
Does the general public know the Shelter house also gives out crack pipes?
My company provided services there at no charge for years however I stopped when I found out what was really going on. They are giving away needles and crack pipes to the down and outs making drug use easier all under the guise of harm reduction. It doesnt work and they refuse to stop and see what is happening all around the city. High school kids are using needles, they (needles) are everywhere and why not, they are so easy to get.
I hope this is printed and people go to the shelter house and ask for a KIT, see where our money goes. Don't tell me they are donated by the health dept, they are still paid for by the general public and personally I don't want to pay to make it easier for junkies to get high.

tsb says:
If we don't distribute needles, drug users will get even more diseases that can be passed through sharing needles, and that is far more expensive than simple handing out needles.

The number of discarded needles in the Simpson Street area has severely declined in recent years thanks to neighbourhood efforts. Other neighbourhoods should step up like we did to make things better instead of just complaining online, don't you think?
