It’s official, Bill Mauro and Michael Gravelle are returning to Kathleen Wynne’s cabinet.
Gravelle, the long-time Minister of Northern Development and Mines, retained the portfolio on Tuesday when he was sworn into cabinet. Mauro will take on the renamed Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry, a promotion from his previous post as the Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing.
Both ministers also took on multiple committee roles.
Mauro will sit on three committees, including energy management, and poverty reduction and social inclusion.
Gravelle joins the health, education and social policy committee and the jobs and economic policy committee.
Both politicians will sit on Wynne’s cabinet committee on Northern Ontario.
