THUNDER BAY -- Some local businesses in this area have begun reporting that they’ve received phone calls from people posing as hydro employees.

The phone calls come from unknown people claiming to be with Thunder Bay Hydro’s termination department.

The callers then threaten the business, claiming the power will be cut unless they make an immediate payment.

Customers are being advised to get as many details as possible before calling the Thunder Bay Police Service.
