THUNDER BAY -- Police have released surveillance footage from an early Sunday morning hotel robbery.

A hotel clerk at the Airlane Hotel in Thunder Bay suffered injuries after a knife-wielding man allegedly sprayed the victim with a chemical agent during an alleged robbery.

Thunder Bay police say a lone male entered the Arthur Street establishment at about 1:30 a.m. and fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.

The suspect is described as standing six feet tall, wearing a black sweater, grey jogging pants, a baseball cap and white running shoes.

Police are asking anyone with information about the incident or the identity of the man involved to contact them at 684-1200 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.
