THUNDER BAY -- A city man  has found himself behind bars for taking pictures of sunbathers in the Centennial Park area.

Thunder Bay Police Service officers were called by a woman Wednesday afternoon complaining about a man who was lurking in the bushes and snapping pictures of her and a friend as they sunbathed beside the Current River.

Police located a suspect riding a bicycle on Hudson Avenue.

But when police tried to talk with the man, he became aggressive and ended up in a struggle with the officers.

The 54-year-old has been charged with mischief and assault.

Police say they'd also like to speak with three young women who were at the park yesterday and left the area when told of the man hiding in the bushes.
