Kenora shoppers dealing with purse snatchings

Kenora shoppers are being encouraged to keep an eye on their carts. OPP in the Northwestern Ontario city say a rash of purse snatchings have taken place in recent weeks, numbering about 13.

OPP in the Northwestern Ontario city say a rash of purse snatchings have taken place in recent weeks, numbering about 13.

Police remind shoppers to keep their valuables in sight, to not leave their purses unattended for any amount of time and to carry only the minimum amount of money or credit cards needed for the day.

Victims of these types of thefts are encouraged to contact the OPP at 807-548-5534.
