Two people taken to hospital after ATV rollover

THUNDER BAY -- Two people were injured, one critically, after their all-terrain vehicle rolled over early Sunday morning. The Thunder Bay Police Service report the single-vehicle incident occurred shortly before 1 a.m.

The Thunder Bay Police Service report the single-vehicle incident occurred shortly before 1 a.m. at the intersection of Candy Mountain Road and Oliver Creek Road, with the driver and passenger being rushed to hospital by ambulance.

One man is in critical condition at the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre while a woman is being treated for non-life threatening injuries.

The investigation is ongoing and the intersection was closed to traffic as of 6 a.m. Sunday morning.
