Thunder Bay Police have taped off a large swath of wooded property between Blucher and Picton avenues and say they are responding to the city's second suspicious death of the day.
In a release issued Monday, police say they arrived at the scene at about 8:15 p.m. where they found a seriously injured male. He was pronounced dead in hospital a short time later.
A witness who works in the area told tbnewswatch.com that both amublance and fire crews were on scene. The ambulance sped off and the police tape went up.
Police on scene had little to say about the incident, directing all inquiries to the watch commander. Thunder Bay Television contacted the watch commander on Monday night and were told no comment was being given at this time.
Police were called to a Machar Avenue home early Monday morning to investigate another death they labeled suspicious.
