They say a cat has nine lives, but how many does a deer have?

Well, according to Thunder Bay Police, the answer might be at least a couple.

Police say on Thursday they responded to a Brannan Lane call just after 1 p.m., arriving on scene to find a deer pinned under a vehicle.
Usually that means having to put the animal down.

But in this case officers observed the deer was only suffering from minor injuries. The vehicle was jacked up and the deer ran off into the woods in one piece.

On the same day they announced the police budget is starting to cause strain. I am glad our tax dollars were used so appropriately.
