THUNDER BAY -- Contract talks are still underway between Bombardier and Unifor Local 1075.

The two sides resumed negotiations Tuesday morning, in hopes of resolving the seven-week long strike.

The meetings are taking place behind closed doors at the Victoria Inn.  A total media blackout has been issued for the duration of the talks, so it's unclear at this time what either side is asking for or negotiating.

What is known is that a significant numbers of office employees at the Thunder Bay plant have been temporarily laid off while the strike continues.

The talks resumed one week after a vote by union members, which saw 81-percent turn down the last offer by the company.
