THUNDER BAY -- City police responded to reports of a firearm Monday evening in the city’s north end.
Thunder Bay Police Service officers received reports just before 8 p.m. of a man pointing a firearm at the rear wall of a home on High Street, near Red River Road.
When officers arrived they found a man holding what appeared to be a pistol. The man was arrested at gunpoint without incident.
An investigation revealed that the handgun was a pellet gun.
The man was released without condition, but police did caution him about his activity.
