Red River Road gas station robbed

THUNDER BAY -- City police are looking into another armed robbery case, this time on the city’s northside. Thunder Bay Police Service officers responded to the reported robbery at a gas station on Red River Road just after midnight.

THUNDER BAY -- City police are looking into another armed robbery case, this time on the city’s northside.

Thunder Bay Police Service officers responded to the reported robbery at a gas station on Red River Road just after midnight.

Police say a male suspect entered the store armed with a knife and demanded money from the gas bar clerk.

The man then fled southbound from the Red River gas bar with an undisclosed amount of money.

No injuries were reported as a result of this incident.

Police say the suspect is described as an Aboriginal man of about 30-years-old who stands about six feet tall. He had a buzz cut and a black eye.

The suspect wore a black hoodie, dark jeans at the time of the robbery.

Anyone with any information about this robber is asked to contact city police or the Thunder Bay District Crime Stoppers 623-8477(TIPS).
