  • 1 Robbery
  • 16 Thefts
  • 9 thefts from vehicles

Meanwhile, north of the Harbour Expressway, officers responded to more than 86 calls.
Some of the more serious incidents reported include:

  • 11 Assaults
  • 2 Break and enters
  • 2 Sexual assaults
  • 16 Thefts

The vast majority of cases city police responded to were listed as either liquor or disorder.

NOTE TO READERS: Our weekly look at the crime statistics now includes the category of quality of life. Some of our previous Glance at Crime reports looked at crimes reported with the exception of traffic and quality of life cases. After several requests from readers, and due to the fact that quality of life cases do take up a significant portion of police resources, we decided that we would begin including these numbers.
