OPP identify victims of fatal snowmobile crash

KENORA, Ont. – Two people killed in a snowmobile crash on Friday have been identified.

KENORA, Ont. – Two people killed in a snowmobile crash on Friday have been identified.

The OPP said 62-year-old Curtis Ronning and 57-year-old Larry Cameron, both of Kenora, were pronounced dead at the scene of a collision between two snowmobiles in a remote area off Highway 71.

The crash happened at about 7:30 p.m. Friday night in the area of Hillock Creek. Emergency services attended on snow machine and ATV.

A third man was transported to hospital with serious injuries.

The investigation is continuing.
