OPP Sergeant to run marathon, raise money to give far north communities life jackets

OPP News Release: (DRYDEN, ON) – Sergeant Marty Singleton is running a full marathon on Father’s day to raise funds to purchase life jackets to send to Northern Communities.

(DRYDEN, ON) – Sergeant Marty Singleton is running a full marathon on Father’s day to raise funds to purchase life jackets to send to Northern Communities.  Every year there are unnecessary deaths on the waterways due to lack of life jacket availibility. 

Dryden Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police wants to help with this life saving endeavour. 

On May 24, 2015 at 9am the Detachment will be hosting a pancake breakfast.  Please bring a new or gently used life jacket or a donation.
