Ontario Provincial Police say 16-year-old Joshua Nanokeesic was found in need of medical assistance on Friday, April 24 and subsequently died on May 11 after being flown to Thunder Bay and later transferred to Sioux Lookout for treatment.

Police arrested three men and have charged each with second degree murder.

Loyal McKay, 19, Joshua Darion Storm and a 17-year-old who cannot be identified under the Youth Criminal Justice Act, have been remanded.

The investigation continues.
