For all the complaints about the poor condition of Thunder Bay roads, the dissent wasn’t nearly enough to place any city street on the dubious annual Ontario Worst Roads list. Northern Ontario did capture three of the top four spots.

For all the complaints about the poor condition of Thunder Bay roads, the dissent wasn’t nearly enough to place any city street on the dubious annual Ontario Worst Roads list.

Timmins’ Algonquin Boulevard West and East took first and second place, while Highway 144 in Greater Sudbury was fourth.

Riverside Drive in Timmins wound up eight.

Timmins Mayor Steve Black endorsed the list wholeheartedly.

“I am thankful to the residents of Timmins who railed together with my support to ensure our provincial connecting link roads finished in the top 10,” he said in a release.

Maley Drive in Greater Sudbury rounded out the Northern region top five.
