A regional airline is expanding its service into remote parts of Northern Ontario.
North Star Air, in a release issued on Monday, said they have opened the company’s new operating base in Pickle Lake and will offer service to Neskantaga First Nation from their base in Pickle Lake.
The Red Lake Service, which will offer passenger and freight services, will initially fly into Deer Lake, Pikangikum and Poplar Hill.
