Fire forces CN to reroute rail traffic

CN officials say they have had to reroute rail traffic as a result of a fire that destroyed a wooden bridge east of International Falls.

CN officials say they have had to reroute rail traffic as a result of a fire that destroyed a wooden bridge east of International Falls.

Officials with the Minnesota Fire Marshal's office say there was no evidence of foul play in the Tuesday night fire, and the cause was likely some sort of mechanical failure.

The bridge was a key part of a busy corridor connecting lines from Western Canada through to Chicago.
