Frost advisory issued for city, much of Northern Ontario

THUNDER BAY - Mother Nature provided a reminder Saturday morning that it's not quite summer yet.

THUNDER BAY - Mother Nature provided a reminder Saturday morning that it's not quite summer yet.

Chilly temperatures prompted Environment Canada to issue a frost advisory for the city, advising residents to take precautions for frost-sensitive plants and trees.

Advisories have also been issued for much of the north shore of Lake Superior, as well as Atikokan and Sioux Lookout areas.

Temperatures are expected to dip near or below freezing Saturday night and into Sunday morning.
